New England Retail Properties, Inc. has expanded its leasing and development services to specialize in healthcare spaces. Medical bricks and mortar has been expanding across the New England market and transitioned from “medical parks” to prime retail centers, often next to a grocery stores, banks, and coffee shops like Starbucks.
Why? Doctors and health systems want to be front and center and have access to large parking fields and traffic lights. Thankfully, medical tenants have been vital in backfilling shopping center spaces. Your local grocery anchored center will likely be home to an urgent care operator, dentist, and physical therapist in 2019.
NERP’s Development division has experience with complex ownership structures, high intensity water and other utilities usage, and high price per square foot construction costs to handle ground up development projects.
