Matt Halprin, Senior Vice President of New England Retail Properties, Inc., brokers sale of land located at 1799 Meriden-Waterbury Turnpike in Southington, CT for $750,000 to Michigan based hospitality group. The hospitality group has over 318 restaurants throughout 16 states. Pat Gallagher of Atlantic Retail Properties represented the purchaser. The land is located on Route 322 in front of the AMC Southington 12 movie theater and consists of 1.47 Acres.

The property will become home to a new Wendy’s franchise that is slated to open in early 2020. Wendy’s is best known for its made-to-order square hamburgers using fresh, never frozen beef, freshly-prepared salads with hand-chopped lettuce, and other signature items like chili, baked potatoes and the Frosty® dessert. Today, Wendy’s and its franchisees employ hundreds of thousands of people across more than 6,700 restaurants worldwide.
