Tractor Supply Company celebrated the Official Grand Opening of their new store in Stafford, CT on January 18^th, 2020. The Grand Opening ceremony included appearances from radio personality Damon Scott of Country 92.5, Maggie the Mini Pony and complimentary popcorn from Pop Mama. The festivities were followed by a ribbon cutting ceremony where General Manager, Shawn Mailhoit, cut the ribbon symbolizing the official grand opening. District Manager Rich Warren was also in attendance. Prizes and discounts were also given out during the event.

The Stafford Tractor Supply Co. store, located at 54 West Stafford Rd., Stafford, CT was developed by Penny Lane LLC an operating company of New England Retail Properties Inc. who have developed multiple Tractor Supply Co. stores throughout New England and New York. Matthew Darling and Mark D’Addabbo spearheaded the development from its inception, taking the property through the zoning process and construction phases to store completion.  The store consists of 19,097 SF of retail space along with 20,000 SF of outdoor storage and sales space.

The entire development team contributed to the success of this project.  Financing was handled by Matt Krokov at Peoples Bank in Holyoke, MA, the Architect is Glen Oxford of Oxford Architecture in Nashville, TN, Civil Engineering was handled by Jim Cassidy of Hallisey, Pearson and Cassidy Engineering in Cromwell, CT, W.R. Newman of Nashville, TN acted as general contractors for the store and Tom Moriarty of Moriarty, Paetzold & Sherwood of Glastonbury, CT served as legal counsel for the development.

Planning and Zoning Commission along with the Inland and Wetland Commissions were particularly helpful getting this project off the ground.
