Kerry Wood of New England Retail Properties, Inc., brokers lease of Madison Reed Color Bar in Downtown Westport, Connecticut. The Color Bar is to be located at 33 Elm Street and will operate in 1,450 square feet. The Westport, CT Madison Reed Color Bar will be the first brick-and-mortar location in Connecticut. Kerry Wood secured the lease on behalf of the tenant and Sharon Maddern from David Adam Real Estate represented the landlord.

Matt Halprin, Senior Vice President of New England Retail Properties, Inc. is pleased to announce the sale of the Newtown, Connecticut Tractor Supply Co. located at 116 South Main Street (Route 25), Newtown, Connecticut 06470. According to local land records the property was sold for $5,925,000. The Tractor Supply property consists of a 19,097 square-foot building plus a 15,075 square-foot outdoor sales area on approximately 8.2 acres.

The property was developed by Strawberry Fields, LLC., a subsidiary of New England Retail Properties, Inc. in 2014 and was the first Tractor Supply store in Fairfield County.  The purchaser was a private investor based in Connecticut.

LACONIA — With the return of warm weather, construction crews have been busy throughout the Lakes Region, refurbishing historic structures, putting up new homes, demolishing old buildings and repairing roads.

‘I am seeing a strong construction season both new construction and remodeling,” said Lakes Region Chamber President Karmen Gifford. “That industry has worked through the pandemic and hasn’t stopped.

“Subdivisions in Tilton (Highland Ridge), Laconia (Turner Way), and New Hampton (Camelot’s Mansfield Woods) are locations that come to mind that are actively building and growing residential neighborhood homes.”

Small refurbishment projects have been numerous as people spend more time at home during the pandemic and are interested in improving their living space, Gifford said.

Matt Halprin, Senior Vice President of New England Retail Properties, Inc. is pleased to announce the sale of 801 Male Road in Wind Gap, Pennsylvania. The property was sold to an undisclosed buyer for $2,020,000. The Wind Gap property consists of a 92,241 square-foot freestanding multi-tenant building. The property was home to the former Kmart. New England Retail Properties secured the buyer on behalf of the seller, Kin Properties.

New England Retail Properties, Inc., brokers sale of land in Middletown, CT for $900,000 to Connecticut Self Storage of Middletown, LLC. The buyer is based in Connecticut and is an experienced self-storage operator with multiple locations. The land is located behind the Tractor Supply Co. store located at 815 Newfield Street in Middletown, Connecticut and consists of 6.39 acres. The property is approved for 70,000 square feet of self storage that is to be built in the near future.
